Yeti adds ATR 72-500 aircraft to its fleet

Yeti Airlines has announced addition of an ATR 72-500 aircraft with MSN 876 to its fleet, with plans to operate it to Biratnagar and Nepalgunj airports. With Nepali registration number 9N-AMN, the aircraft will be the youngest FAA/EASA approved pressurised aircraft in operation in the Nepali domestic sector, as per a media release.
The ATR 72-500 is powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW127 engines and equipped with Hamilton Sundstrand composite blade propellers. These high-tech engines and propellers ensure exceptional performance, fuel efficiency, remarkably low noise and low greenhouse gas emissions, according to the airline.
