World's longest flight to operate without economy class

Singapore Airlines announced last month that it will reopen its Singapore-Newark route in October.


The journey from Singapore to Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey, the United States, will reportedly take around 19 hours, making it the world’s longest commercial flight.


For the route, the airline will use the Airbus 350-900ULR, which can hold 161 passengers – 67 in business class and 94 in premium economy.


The decision to have no economy class was made to meet market demand, Singapore Airlines spokesperson told AFP as quoted by kompas.com.
