Dozens of flights delayed at Nashville International Airport due to technical issue

Airport spokeswoman Shannon Sumrall said the flights were impacted due to a computer issue.

The Federal Aviation Administration said several airlines experienced issues with AeroData, a program that provides weight-and-balance information that is necessary to grant clearance for takeoff. The FAA said severity varied by airline.

Dan Landson, a Southwest spokesman, said the delays were because of an internal ground stop.
