Soekarno-Hatta Terminal 2F dedicated to low-cost carriers

Airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II has designated Terminal 2F of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten, for low-cost carriers (LCC).


Angkasa Pura II CEO Muhammad Awaluddin said there will be eight low-cost carriers serving international routes from Terminal 2F. They are AirAsia, Cebu Pacific, Lion Air, Thai Lion, Malindo and Jetstar Asia. Following this arrangement, Citilink and Tiger Scoot will also move to Terminal 2F.


“LCC is a growing market around the world, including [in] Southeast Asia. Soekarno-Hatta is getting ready to seize the market,” Awaluddin said as quoted by Tempo.co.
