IT’S the airfare sale that sounds too good to be true.
In celebration of its 13th year of flying, Jetstar is offering the holy grail of air travel: free flights.
Right now, the budget airline is offering 300,000 of free seats on return flights from 83 Australian and international destinations.
Amazing, right? It well could be — as long as you take a second to read the conditions attached.
The free flight is the return flight, and you will still have to pay for the departing flight. So if you wanted to fly from Melbourne to Honolulu, for example, you’d have to pay for your seat on the Melbourne to Honolulu leg, and get the return flight free.
