Bacolod

Bacolod is one of the cities in Philippines . The city became the capital of the province of Negros Occidental and became the 17th most populous city in Philippines . Bacolod became part of the Bacolod Metropolitan Area where Silay and Talisay cities are included in it . Bacolod City has the nickname as the City of Smiles and is also known as the Land of Sweet People because the city is known for its hospitality. In addition, the nickname Sugar City of Philippines is also inherent in this city as the sugar industry is the city's identity .

So the tourists who come to this city will also be tempted by the delights of Bacoleña dishes. For example is Inasal, it is grilled chicken flavored with typical annatto seeds that gives the sensation of a seductive red color. This food is easy to get and inexpensive. Lumpiang Ubod is a fresh thin spring roll without being fried containing slices of heart of young coconut which called ubod, meat, shrimp and scallions.
