Gapang Beach

This beach is one of backpackers' destination for nautical spot in Sabang city, Weh Island, Nangroe Aceh Darussalam Province. A view dominated by beautiful white sandy beach, you can get it here. The name "œGapang" comes from the Gapang trees growth on the beach line. They create shady atmosphere which will make you comfortable while staying here.

You can feel the breeze while staying under the Gapang trees. Also the beauty of underwater view by swimming, diving, snorkeling, jet skiing, water skiing, boating, wind surfing and underwater fishing.

In Underwater, you can see many sea creatures like starfishes, corals, etc. You don't need to bring your own equipments to dive or snorkel because there's the renting place for the equipments. There are also dive centres provided here.

Not only the activites mentioned above you can do, but also renting a boat to explore the island. This island is still natural and unspoiled. You can go to some interesting places like Kilometer Nol Monument, preserved forest lived by many kinds of animals and Pria Laot waterfall.

Facilities

There are some wooden lodges available for you to stay here. The price is IDR 80,000 per night. There are also some resorts provided here for IDR 250,000 per night.
