There are many national parks you can visit here. Among them are San Duong, Ba Lang and Tan Binh. You can see various kinds of rare flora and fauna in the area. The city also offers Ong Pagoda where you can see all the religious or cultural activities held here. The pagoda is located in the city center on Hai Bat Rung street. One of the famous museums in this city is Can Tho City Museum, located in Phan Dinh Phung. There is a large collection of cultural objects, customs and local traditions that you can see here. In addition there is also Army Museum located in Hoa Binh which gives an overview of the Vietnam War.

There are many places in this city that you can visit to simply get rid of your stress. One of them is Cai Rang Floating Market located in the center of Can Tho city where you can enjoy the atmosphere of the market and go shopping by boat. In addition to Cai Rang Floating Market, there are many other markets that you can visit to buy souvenirs or just daily needs. Among them is the Cai Khe Market, Xuan Khanh Market or Ninh Kieu Pier Tourist Market which is the main market of the town. The city also offers many pools for those who like billiard sports.
Things to eat
Chao Ga or chicken porridge is one diet that you can enjoy for breakfast. You can also taste the typical Vietnamese fried rice known as Com Chien or Com Ga Rau Thom, rice with chicken that had been blended and cooked with spices typical of Vietnam. While Banh Cuon or a kind of Vietnamese wet spring rolls typical contains beef or chicken is another dish you can still get in this city.
