Dumaguete

Dumaguete City is the capital of the Negros Oriental Province in the Philippines. Dumaguete is also the largest city in the province and is famous as a university town and the port city. Bais City is one place that you can visit to just see a bunch of dolphins swimming beautifully. You can rent a boat and head to the Tanon Strait to be able to see the dolphins. You can also visit Silliman University which is a famous university in this city where there Siliman University Anthropology Museum and Siliman University Whale Bone Museum inside. You can also see the oldest bell tower in this city. This historical building named Dumaguete Belfry is located in Perdices Street.

One of the most popular tourist attractions in the city is Casaroro Waterfall where you can aim your camera at the location of this waterfall. Twin Lakes tourist attraction: Balinsasayao and Danao are also interesting to visit. You can rent a boat, swim and even fishing in this place. If you want leisurely stroll with family or friends, you can visit the Quezon Park. There is also a playground for your kids here.
