Things to see
In Lamai Beach you can see a pair of grandparents rock called as Hin Ta Hin Yai. This unique rock is believed to be the incarnation of a pair of lovers who lived together until death and became the rock. You can also see a 12 meters high Buddha statue commonly referred to as the Big Buddha at Wat Phra Yai. Do not be surprised when you go to Koh Samui because you can see the mummified body of Luang Pho Daeng, a monk who died in a meditating position at Wat Khunaram.

Swimming, snorkeling and boating to kayaking is an activity that you should not miss while in the Ang Thong National Marine Park. In Namuang Safari, you can ride on an elephant to get around the park up to the waterfall which certainly can give you extraordinary impression while in Koh Samui.

Typical foods of Koh Samui are dominated by Thailand typical food such as Tom Yum Thai, Som Tam (papaya salad) to a variety of seafood with delicious flavor, mixture of sour, sweet and spicy. You can also try local curry served with rice or noodles and spices typically of Koh Samui which will surely make you hooked though the food sounds simple.
