Kuala Terengganu

Kuala Terengganu is the state capital of Terengganu Darul Iman, Malaysia. The city is facing the South China Sea and located approximately 500 kilometers northeast of the city of Kuala Lumpur. This region is one of the new city because the city holds the status of an official on January 1st, 2008. This city is one bustling with tourists, both domestic and foreign. One of the places that you can visit in this city is the Tamadun Islam Park. In this place you can see a collection of various famous mosques miniature in the world. The park is located on the island of Wan Man which is an island located in the eastern coastal city of Kuala Terengganu. Moreover, in this place there is also a Crystal Mosque, the mosque is made of glass and steel. If you come during the night the mosque will shine like crystal because of the effects of crystal light that shone on it. Terengganu State Museum is the largest museum complex in Southeast Asia. Payang market is one place that you can visit to buy various souvenirs of Kuala Terengganu. Famous beach in this city is the Batu Buruk Beach. This beach is not safe for swimming because it has a rather dangerous beach contour. Laksam is made from rice flour and eaten with fish sauce, chilli sauce and side dish-mistress consisting of bean sprouts, long beans, cucumber and basil leaves. Keropok Lekor can complement your culinary tours in Kuala Terengganu. This food is a starch or sago flour dough mixed with fish. Boiled or fried Keropok Lekor are equally delicious.
