Narmada Park

Narmada Park is located in the Lembuah village, District Narmada, West Lombok Regency, about 10 km east of Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara. Narmada Park has an area about 2 acres that was built by the King of Mataram named Anak Agung Ngurah Karang Asem in 1727. This park is commonly used as a place for the Pakelem ceremony held every 5 years in the Caka Month (October-November).

Most buildings are considered sacred to this day and are still being used as a means of religious rites by followers of the Hindu religion.

Tourists can enjoy the beauty of the park which has several pools of water that still look beautiful and natural. The pools where once used as a bathing place for the king's concubine.

In addition you can visit Mukedas Bale or Bale Agung which is a resting place for the king where he could see his concubines in the bathroom. There is also a fountain called the "Fountain of Youth". The water comes from Mount Rinjani and drinking it supposedly can make a person stay young.

The cost of entry to the park is pretty cheap. Local tourists are charged Rp 4,000, while foreigners are charged Rp 10,000. Although the prices are different, the staff will welcome all people with the same enthousiasm and smile.
