Kapiti Coast Airport

How to get from the airport to Kapiti Coast city centre by public transport?

Car rental services are available here but you can also take a train, taxi, bus or walk. The airport is located right in the middle between the town Paraparaumu and the beach, if you are looking for some exercise and you do not have a lot of luggage you can save the money of the taxi and walk to your destination. The Paraparaumu train station is also in walking distance of the terminal, just about 1,5 km to the southwest. From the station you can hop on a train to some destinations further away.
Taxis are waiting at the taxi rank, but you can also call Paraparaumu Taxis to order one. Kapiti Coast Shuttles manages a door-to-door shuttle service between the airport and Wellington.
