Malindo Air is a low-cost airline based in Malaysia a joint venture of Malaysia 's National Aerospace and Defense Industries (NADI - 51 %) and Indonesian airline Lion Air (49 %). The name Malindo is taken from the names of the countries it sees as its core markets: Malaysia and Indonesia. Although Malindo Air is a low-cost carrier, the airline has the slogan "Not Just Low Cost". They do provide more services than normal low-cost airlines like free checked baggage, in-flight-entertainment with your private screen and a free snack or light meal.
