Trans Studio Bandung is another popular place worth visiting in Bandung. Trans Studio Bandung is a Theme Park and what makes this one special is Trans Studio Bandung is indoors so you won't get wet by rain or sweat from the heat. Trans Studio Bandung is one of the largest Indoor Theme Parks in the world.
The theme park is divided into three areas with different themes. The first is Studio Central which has an old Hollywood theme. You can meet some famous Indonesian celebrities if you get lucky. The second is Lost City. You can find many adventurous rides in this section. The last is Magic Corner. For those who love mystical or magical things, this area will be your paradise with many mystical and magical challenging rides. There are a total of 20 rides in this theme park. One of the most popular ones is the Yamaha Racing Coaster which will take you to 120 km/hour in just 3,5 sexonds, that is an acceleration, isn't it? There are only three Yamaha Racing Coaster in the world, two of them are in the USA. Other rides that will make your adrenaline rush are Giant Swing and Vertigo. For those who are keen on movies, here you can watch 4D Marvel.
Besides the adrenaline pumping rides there also educational rides like Science Centre and The Adventure of Bolang. Lots of live performances are also available like Live Music accoustic, Surprice Dance, Top Dance, Clown in Action, etc. Feeling exhausted after enjoying the rides? A ticket is not cheap: IDR 150,000 during the week and IDR 200,000 for weekend and holidays. Although it is not cheap, it is worth it. Optionally you can pay an additional IDR 200,000 for VIP (fastline without queueing).

Trans Studio Bandung location can be reached easily. You could use a private vehicle or public transport. For tourists who arrive in Bandung Station, exit first from the north side and then use a light green public transportation numbered 12 covering Station-Hall-Gede Bage route. Then get off on Jalan Gatot Subroto General. From here, then change to red-green public transportation numbered 30 covering Eagles Kalapa-Cicadas route. Ask to get down in front of Trans Studio Bandung. Public transportation will directly bring tourists right in front of the entrance of Trans Studio Bandung. The cost for one ride of this public transportation is IDR 5,000 each way.
If other travelers using public transport, for example taxi, the cost is around IDR 40,000 to IDR 50.000 from Bandung Station towards Trans Studio Bandung.
