Things to see
There are many festivals that you can see here. Among them is the Dinagyang Festival which is a religious and cultural festival held every the fourth weekend in January each year. This festival is the biggest festival in the province. See also Paraw Regatta Festival held every the third week in February each year. The festival is about the race of the fishermen who use colorful boats called Paraws. In addition there are several historical buildings that you can find here, such as the Church of St. Anne, Jaro Cathedral Facade, Jaro Cathedral Belfry and many others.

Agho Island is one popular coastal tourist attraction in this city. In addition to its natural beauty, you can also swim or dive in this place. Visit also Bulabog Putian National Park, a national park located in Iloilo, Philippines. Not quite just a day to explore all the places in the park. You can explore the cave, you can swim and many other activities you can do here. The island is not less interesting is the Gigantes Island. The island is very beautiful, charming, exotic and serene. Things to eat
One unique food that you can taste in this town is Kinilaw. It is almost similar to sashimi in Japan. Kinilaw is a typical food which use raw fish cooked in vinegar with the addition of ginger, coconut milk and lemon fruit as the ingredient. Taste also Kalderetang, a major delicacies made from goat meat as well as some additional vegetables such as tomatoes, potatoes and carrots, and a little extra vinegar, pasta and pepper to make it more delicious. Taste also Bibingka for dessert, a local rice cake that is baked using charcoal served with extra cheese on top.
