Wat Phnom is among the interesting attractions that you can visit. This Buddhist temple is located in the center of Phnom Penh and was built in 1373. One of the other attractions the most popular place to visit in this city is the Royal Palace, a historical building that was built in 1886 by King Norodom. You can visit this palace in Samdech Sothearos Boulevard or approximately two kilometers from the points of Wat Phnom. While not far from the palace complex, on the south side of the palace complex, there's Silver Pagoda. One more place for those who are brave enough you can visit is the The Killing Fields of Choeung Ek where there is a Buddhist stupa among thousands of human skulls here.

The food in this city is heavily influenced by the style of cuisine from France, China, Thailand and Vietnam. Many interesting food menu that you can taste, one of which is the Cha Knyey dishes containing meat slices with additional pepper, ginger and chili, causing a distinctive spicy flavor and served with rice. While Caw is a typical Cambodian cuisine containing meat, eggs, tofu and bamboo shoots with additional sugar.
