One of them is Ruam Nam Jai Thai Sakon Fair and Red Cross Fair held every the beginning of year by of the local town hall. The festival features local culture and traditions of the various ethnic groups in the province of Sakon Nakhon. In addition there is a religious monument that can be visited known as Phra That Choeng Chum in this city. You can also go to Sakon Nakhon Cultural Centre where there is a large collection of objects and historical documents from the various ethnic groups. Also do not forget to visit The Museum of Archan Man Purithattha Thera where there will be a large collection of bronze sculptures which you can see here.

Phu Phan Mountain Range is perfect for you lovers visited the mountain. Natural scenery here is very beautiful. Additionally Pha Nang Mern and Lan Sao E are also suitable place for you who like to hike. Aside from being a suitable place to watch the sunset, these places are also suitable for camping. Visit also the Phu Phan National Park located about 25 kilometers from the city center. Feel the natural atmosphere and there is a Tat Ton Waterfall and Kham Hom Waterfall here.
