Baltimore Airport, officially known as Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), is a major airport located in the United States. It serves the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area and is situated about 10 miles south of downtown Baltimore, Maryland. BWI Airport has three active runways. The airport consists of a main terminal building with five concourses, labeled A through E. Baltimore/Washington International Airport is an international airport in Anne Arundel County, Maryland located 9 miles (14 km) south of Downtown Baltimore and 30 miles (48 km) northeast of Washington, D.C.
BWI is located at the southeast terminus of Interstate 195, a spur route providing connections to the Baltimore–Washington Parkway and Interstate 95.
