Punai Beach

Almost all beaches in Belitung Island have white sandy beach, one of them is Punai Beach. This beach is situated in Tanjung Kelumpang village, Simpang Pesak sub-district, Belitung Timur district, Bangka Belitung Province. This white sandy beach is still natural and has granite rocks spreaded along the beach, clear blue water and waving coconut trees along the beach.

This beach is crowded by visitors especially on holidays. Punai Beach has wide area, beautiful water-color gradation and calm water making this beach so suitable for relaxing, swimming, fishing even diving. Not far from the beach, there's a small island called Punai Island which was used as punai birds' stop-by place. When the water decreases, you will be able to see this small island.

The nature scenery offered by Punai Beach gives calm and peaceful atmosphere for visitors. In the afternoon, Punai Beach's horizon when sunset will also give an extraordinary view. This beach has been completed with various facilities, so it's okay for you to come to visit this beautiful beach.
