There are many festivals often held in this city. One of them is Kahimunan Festival which is usually held every third Sunday in January. There is also The Cultural Festival which is usually held on the last Sunday in July and August 2nd to coincide with the celebration of the Charter Day of Butuan. Not only that, there are a few museums that can be visited. One of them is Balangay Shrine Museum. There are many historical relics that you can see here.
