Shenzhen

Shenzhen is a metropolitan city with its rapid economic development. It is located in the southern province of Guangdong, or about 147 kilometers from the city of Guangzhou. In this city there are many recreation centers established to meet the needs of local communities. Shenzhen is also the home of some of the most successful technology companies in China. There are Huawei, ZTE, BYD, Konka and much more. The city also has many ports such as Shekou and Yantian ports making it easier for the tourists to visit this place.

Things to see

Shenzhen Grand Theatre is a place that can be visited to watch a theater performance or music concert. The building has a mixture of styles between Europe and China and it's located in downtown Shenzhen or rather in Shennan Road East, Luohu District, Shenzhen. One historical sites you can visit is Wubeiling village located in Nanshan District. In this place you can see a lot of excavation sites of ancient objects relics findings from Sang Dynasty. While in China Folk Culture Village, you can see the different parts of life and architectural Chinese society.

Come to visit Happy Valley where you can try various of exciting rides and games. There is also the Honey Lake Holiday Village which offers a lot of outbound games like Flying Fox, Spider Web, Two Line Bridge and many others. While in Shiyan Resort, located around the Shiyan Lake, offers a bathing place with eternal spring which can cure various diseases. For those of you who want to go shopping, you do not need to be confused. This place offers a lot of places to shop like MixC Shopping Mall which is the largest and busiest shopping in Shenzhen and Luohu Commercial City where you can get all kinds of things you need for day-to-day here.

Dongmen Street, Bagua First Road Eat Street or Huaqiang Bei Eat Street are areas where you can easily find a local culinary. One of the favorite foods that you can taste in this city is the Shuizuyu, spicy food made of fish served in a container of boiling oil, Jiding Gungbao similar with chicken Kung Pao and Sijidou Ganbian, a kind of stir-fried long beans. There is also the Bao Xiaolong soup dumplings with a distinctive flavor that is certainly tempting. For you who love bread, you can try Chashao Bao, steamed buns containing chicken or goat meat.
