Des Moines International Airport (DSM) is a public airport located in Polk County, Iowa, United States. The airport was established in 1933 as a municipal airport and was later renamed in 1942 to Des Moines Municipal Airport. In 1986, the airport was renamed to Des Moines International Airport to reflect its growing international traffic.
