Adelaide International Airport is with well over 7 million passengers a year, the fifth busiest airport in Australia. A new terminal constructed in 2005 has greatly improved passenger convenience at Adelaide Airport and it has been voted the world's second best international airport in the category up to 15 million passengers.
The new terminal is a combined domestic and international terminal and can handle the Airbus A380 SuperJumbo.
The Adelaide Airport has ATM's and currency exchange, shops and restaurants and within the terminal there is free Wi-Fi.
Adelaide Airport is not a large airport so there are not many flights departing here. There are only a few destinations that you can reach from Adelaide Airport, most of these are operated by JetStar Airways. Many people take a flight to Brisbane and transfer to another flight there.
