Boise Airport, also known as Boise Air Terminal or Gowen Field, is a public airport located three miles south of downtown Boise, Idaho. The airport was originally built in 1926 as a military airfield and was later converted into a commercial airport in 1946. Today, it serves as the primary airport for the state of Idaho and is the 83rd busiest airport in the United States.
