The Sukothai airport is located in Sukothai Province and is a private airport owned by Bangkok Airways. It is a beautiful small airport designed with a tropical, open architecture.
Sukhothai Airport is located about 30 km north from Sukhothai town.
You can take a van provided by the airport to get to town. It will cost you 180 baht (new city) or 300 baht (old city) for each person and it will take you anywhere in the city, just tell the driver your destination or address.
