Geraldton Airport is a small public airport which is owned and operated by the City of Greater Geraldton. The airport serves Geraldton in Western Australia and is the 44th busiest airport in Australia with only 98,000 passengers a year. There are commercial flights, charter flights and the airport is used by the Royal Flying Doctor Services, Royal Australian Air Force and by mining companies. The commercial airlines on the airport are QantasLink (Perth), Virgin Australia (Perth, Paraburbdoo) and Skipper Aviation (Carnarvon).
Geraldton Airport is at Geraldton-Mt. Magnet Road, about 10 km from the city center of Geraldon. Hiring a car from the airport is the best option to go to the city although taxis are available at the airport as well.
