Nabire has its own airport. There are connecting flights to Nabire from airports in nearby towns and cities such as Jayapura, Biak and Manokwari.
Nabire Airport is not a large airport so there are not many flights departing here. There are only a few destinations that you can reach from Nabire Airport, most of these are operated by Wings Air. Many people take a flight to Timika and transfer to another flight there.
The Nabire airport is located right in the middle of the town, with the city center just a few hundred meters away.
There is not any public transport available leaving you to taxis or ojek (motorcyle taxi) to get into town.
Taxi's are not available but a motorcycle taxi (ojek) can bring you to anywhere in town for about Rp. 15.000.
