Puerto Princesa International Airport is located in almost in the city center of Puerto Princeca in Palawan province. Although it is called international the airport serves mostly domestic flights connecting the city of Puerto Princesa to Manila, Cebu City, Clark, Davao and Iloilo by AirAsia Zest Cebu Pacific, PAL Express and CeboGo.
Puerto Princesa International Airport is not a large airport so there are not many flights departing here. There are only a few destinations that you can reach from Puerto Princesa International Airport, most of these are operated by Cebu Pacific Air. Many people take a flight to Manila and transfer to another flight there.
The airport is small with only two cafes and can be closed at certain times of the day. A new terminal and runway expansion was carried out; the new terminal opened in May 2017.
Puerto Princesa Airport is located practically in the city center.
Best option is to walk to the main road and get a tricycle to your destination for PHP 50. Jeepneys are available as well (PHP 15) but in Puerto Princesa are no taxis.
