Nam Air is a new airline founded in 2013 as a subsidiary of Indonesian airline Sriwijaya Air. Unlike its parent it is a full-service carrier. Nam Air operates a full Boeing 737-500 fleet with flights to several major Indonesian cities. In the future the airline plans to operate the ATR 72-600 and Bombardier Q400 propeller aircraft and also serve smaller destinations.
