Lovina Beach is located on the north coast of Bali, approximately 10 km west of Singaraja in Kalibukbuk Village, Buleleng Regency, Bali. Lovina Beach is famous for its dolphin attraction, because of this a dolphin-shaped statue as high as +/- 5 meters was built near the entrance to the tourist area. You can see dolphins in the middle of the ocean waters in front of Lovina, about one kilometers into the sea. The waves at Lovina beach are relatively quiet so you can safely go on the ocean with a fisherman boat.
Loviana beach area is unique and famous because you can see firsthand hundreds of wild dolphins, and they are very cute and friendly. This will be a fun and exciting holiday experience. But to be able to see those hundreds of dolphins you have to leave in the morning before the sun will rise, since the dolphins in the Lovina area are usually only visible at about 6 to 8 am. You can rent a small fishing boat which can carry up to four people.
If you are not lucky to directly see the dolphins, dont worry, you can still enjoy the beach which is one of the best in Bali. Lovina is also good for diving or snorkeling. You can find a variety of tropical fish that are quite friendly and easily approached by divers.
