Kolkata is a city of history. Many historical sites can be visited here. One of the most famous historical sites in Kolkata is the Victoria Memorial. This temple is a historical site and a sacred place to the Hindu religion. In addition to cultural sites, Kolkata also has a Botanical Garden which has a collection of about 12,000 annual plants from around the world. The Botanical Garden is the oldest and the largest botanical garden in India.

There are many things you can do in Kolkata, among others you can go along the Hooghly River which is a tributary of the Gangga River using many small yachts available there. You can get a ticket for a cruise on the Millenium Park. In Aquatic Water Park, you can enjoy a variety of water rides. The most exciting thing is going surround Kolkata using old trems which are still operating there.

Kolkata is located in the eastern of India and has a variety of culinary specialties which are heavily influenced by China and Mongolia. A wide assortment of culinary specialties you can try is Tomato Achaar or sour flavored tomato pickles. You can also taste Shondesh which is a dessert, made from fresh mashed cheese and then sweetened. There is also Machcher Jhol, a kind of fish curry.
