Lake Ranamese

One of the things you can see while visiting the town of Ruteng, East Nusa Tenggara Province is a beautiful lake named Lake Ranamese. The lake is located on the main street of Borong - Ruteng. Lake Ruteng has an area of about five acres and is located at an altitude of about 1200 meters above sea level and has a depth of about 43 meters.

The lake is in the category of the volcanic lake. The lake was formerly a crater that has a steep beach. Residents around the lake are also often called as Lake Kelimutu Kecil. This lake is also one of the mainstay tourism of Ruteng.
