Kereta Api Mutiara Selatan travels between Bandung (BD) and Malang (ML). This train is also known as Mutiara Selatan Priority.
Mutiara Selatan train is a business-class train serving Malang (ML) - Surabaya Gubeng (SGU) - Bandung (BD) route and vice versa. Mutiara Selatan used to have executive and business class series combined with Ekspress Malam Turangga train. However, on October 11th, 1999, the whole series of Mutiara Selatan train were changed into business class. As for the executive class series are used by Turangga train.
In one series of Mutiara Selatan train, there are six to seven business class carriages (K2), one dining carriage, one generator carriage (KMP2) and one luggage carriage (B).
During the journey, Mutiara Selatan train will stop at several stations: Wonokromo, Mojokerto, Jombang, Kertosono, Nganjuk, Madiun, Solo Balapan, Yogyakarta, Karanganyar, Gombong, Kroya, Maos, Banjar, Ciamis, Tasikmalaya, Cipeundeuy and Kiaracondong.
