The small, domestic airport of Ayers Rock, or also known as Connellan Airport) serves the city of Yulara in the Northern Territory and is a main entry point for visitors to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park with the famous Ayers Rock or Uluru.
The airport handles up to 300.000 passengers a year and has a single terminal and limited facilities. Several airlines fly to Ayers Rock but all from other cities so only one airline flies on a specific route, making prices expensive.
Ayers Rock Airport is located about 7 km north of Yulara and about 15 km north of the Rock.
A free shuttle meeting every flight runs between the airport and the resort town of Yulara.
