Des Moines International Airport (DSM) is a public airport located in Polk County, Iowa, United States. The airport was established in 1933 as a municipal airport and was later renamed in 1942 to Des Moines Municipal Airport. In 1986, the airport was renamed to Des Moines International Airport to reflect its growing international traffic.
Des Moines International Airport is served by several major airlines, including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, Allegiant Air, Frontier Airlines, and Southwest Airlines. These airlines offer non-stop flights to several domestic and international destinations, including Chicago, Denver, Dallas, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Cancun.
The airport is home to a maintenance base for Endeavor Air.
