Syukuran Aminuddin Amir Airport (LUW) serves the city of Luwuk in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is a small airport with one runway and one (recently opened) terminal. The runway was recently extended and now the Luwuk airport is capable of receiving jet aircraft like the B737.
Syukuran Aminuddin Amir Airport is not a large airport so there are not many flights departing here. There are only a few destinations that you can reach from Syukuran Aminuddin Amir Airport, most of these are operated by Batik Air. Many people take a flight to Makassar and transfer to another flight there.
The airport is located just 20 meters from the sea, about 10 km south of Luwuk city center, on the Jalan Urip Sumoharjo.
