The Nanning Wuxu International Airport serves the city of Nanning in southern China and was build in the 1960s. Since then an upgrade done in the 1990s has increased the capacity of the airport but with passengers numbers growing quickly the airport is functioning well over capacity.
Nanning Wuxu Airport is predominantly a domestic airport, with connections to various major cities in China, but it has a few international flights as well to Bangkok (Hainan Airlines and China Southern), Ho Chi Minh, Jakarta and Singapore (Sichuan Airlines) and AirAsia flies to Kuala Lumpur from Nanning.

The Nanning Wuxu International Airport is located 30 km southwest of Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Autonomous Region.
An airport shuttle provide a connection to the city center, the bus terminates at Chaoyang Lu (near the Railway station and Minhang Hotel). Fare is about RMB 15 and the trip will take around 45 minutes.
Public bus 301 runs also between the airport and the city center, it takes a bit longer than the shuttle but price is with RMB 3 a lot cheaper.
Taxis are available outside the arrival area, a ride into the city would cost around RMB 100 - 150.
