Eagle County Regional Airport, commonly known as Eagle Airport, is a public airport located in Eagle County, Colorado, United States. The airport was built in 1947 and was initially used for military purposes. In 1989, the airport was expanded and upgraded to accommodate commercial flights. Today, Eagle Airport serves as a gateway to the Vail Valley, a popular ski resort destination.
