Gusti Syamsir Alam Airport is a small domestic airport serving the town of Kotabaru on the Laut Utara Island, in the southeast of Kalimantan.

There are only a few destinations that you can reach from Gusti Syamsir Alam Airport, most of these are operated by Wings Air. Many people take a flight to Banjarmasin and transfer to another flight there.
The airport has one small passenger terminal and one runway of 1650 meters length. There is plan to extend the runway to allow for larger jet aircraft to land here.
Gusti Syamsir Alam Airport is located on the main road to the ferry port, about 10 km to the southwest of central Kotabaru.
