Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT) is a public airport located in Fresno, California, USA. The airport was first established in 1942 as Hammer Field, a military airfield during World War II. In 1949, the airport was converted into a commercial airport and renamed Fresno Air Terminal. In 1988, the airport was renamed Fresno Yosemite International Airport to reflect its proximity to Yosemite National Park.
