Francisco B. Reyes Airport or also known as Busuanga Airport is a Class 2 domestic airport which serves Coron and Busuanga in Palawan province, Philippines. The name is taken from a former major of Coron who donated his land for the current airport.
The Busuanga Airport is fairly small with a single terminal. The airport was severely damaged due to super typhoon Haiyan in November 2013 and it took almost a year for reconstruction work to finish.
Francisco B. Reyes Airport is not a large airport so there are not many flights departing here. There are only a few destinations that you can reach from Francisco B. Reyes Airport, most of these are operated by CebGo. Many people take a flight to Cebu and transfer to another flight there.
The airport is located about 20 kilometers northeast from Coron city center.
Although tricycles are available in Coron, they don't operate on the airport. Taxis are not available at all in both Coron and Busuanga. To get from the airport to the city center you can take a minivan for PHP 150 (fixed price) which takes about 45 minutes. It will drop you of at your destination so don't forget to tell the driver your destination.
