GoAir is an Indian low-cost carrier founded as recently as 2005. GoAir only has domestic Indian flights to over 20 cities using an all Airbus A320 fleet of 19 aircraft.
The airline did not focus on gaining market share but profitability was the goal so it did not grow as quickly as some of its competitors like IndiGo and SpiceJet and with around 9% it has the lowest market share of the Indian airlines. But this is likely to rise as GoAir placed an order for 72 new Airbus A320neo with delivery starting in 2015.
As a low-cost carrier GoAir does not offer free meals, drinks or free checked baggage but there is an onboard meal service where passengers can buy coffee, soft drinks, snacks and sandwiches. The airline also offers a premium service called GoBusiness where you will get free meals and a seat in one of the first three rows where the middle seat is guaranteed to remain unoccupied.
GoAir flies to over 41 destinations. Most GoAir flights are for destinations in India but GoAir has international flights to several other countries as well, like for example United Arab Emirates and Thailand. From its main base in Delhi 32 flights depart every week. Many people who look for GoAir tickets look for flights to Mumbai and Bangalore.
