The Mildura Airport is, with over 200.000 passengers a year, the busiest regional airport of Victoria, Australia and has been named Australia's Regional Airport of the year twice. A recent $ 6 million renovation (2012) modernized the terminal, improved the ground handling and increased the capacity of the airport. The airport is located 9 km southwest of the city of Mildura.
Qantass, Regional Express and Virgin all offer flights to Melbourne; you can also fly to Adelaide and Sydney.
Transport options at the airport are very limited if you have not have someone pick you up. There is no public bus or shuttle available to take you to the city. Car rental is available though.
