Tambolaka Airport (TMC) is an airport located in West Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara. It is based on Japan's old airport built in 1945. A new terminal was opened in 2015 with a cafe and few shops.
Tambolaka Airport is not a large airport so there are not many flights departing here. There are only a few destinations that you can reach from Tambolaka Airport, most of these are operated by Nam Air. Many people take a flight to Denpasar Bali and transfer to another flight there.
The airport is located about 4 km north of Tambolaka city center.
Shared minivans are available for transport to the city for around Rp 60.000 per person.
