The Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport is the fourth-busiest airport of France. The airport was named Lyon Satolas Airport but was renamed in 2000 after Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the famous writer and aviation pioneer and citizen of Lyon. The airport opened in 1975, replacing the Lyon Bron Airport.
The airport is since 1994 connected to the TGV high-speed rail network of France, allowing you to catch a train from the airport to Paris or Marseille.
