The Oita Airport is a small airport with only a few flights from here mostly by JAL and ANA to Osaka-Itami airport and to Tokyo Haneda Airport and one international flight to Incheon Airport of Seoul by Korean Air.
The airport has one terminal where domestic departures are at the left side and international departures on the right side. Arrival area is in the middle. Inside the terminal are several shops and stores as well as locker rooms.
Oita Airport is not a large airport so there are not many flights departing here. There are only a few destinations that you can reach from Oita Airport, most of these are operated by Japan Airlines. Many people take a flight to Osaka and transfer to another flight there.
The Oita Airport is located 30 km northeast of Oita in southern Japan, on the other side of Beppu Bay, about 60 km by road.
There are several bus lines departing from the airport. You can find them outside, on the left. There are five lines bound for Oita, Beppu-Eki Mae, Yufuin, Bungo Takada and Saiki each with stops along the way. The bus to Oita will take about an hour.
Outside on the right side are the taxis. A taxi for central Oita can cost up to JPY 20.000
