The Takamatsu Airport is a small airport located 15 km southwest of Takamatsu, in Kagawa. Most visitors to Takamatsu will use the much larger Kansai Airport in Osaka from where an airport bus departs for Takamatsu seven times a day.
All Nippon and Japan Airlines offer several flights from Takamatsu to Tokyo Haneda and Naha and there are several international flights from Takamatsu to Seoul and Taipei.
Takamatsu Airport is not a large airport so there are not many flights departing here. There are only a few destinations that you can reach from Takamatsu Airport, most of these are operated by Japan Airlines. Many people take a flight to Tokyo and transfer to another flight there.
The Takamatsu airport is pretty small and therefore it does not have a monorail, subway or rail link like most Japanese airports have. Taxis are available of course and there is a airport bus which departs twice each hour for the central Takamatsu station. A ticket for the 40 minute drive costs about JPY 800.
