With over four million passengers Cairns Airport is the seventh busiest airport in Australia and it has connections to all major cities in Australia as well as to 20 international destinations, mostly in the Pacific region but to China and Japan as well.
Cairns Airport has two terminals 200 meters apart. Terminal 1 is the international terminal while Terminal 2 is for domestic flights only.
