The international airport Cairns is located in the suburb of Aeroglen, north of Cairns, Queensland. The airport is just 7 km north of the Central Business District of Cairns.
There are four shuttle bus companies offering transport to Cairns from the airport: FNQ Airport Shuttle, Sun Palm transport, Coral Sea Coaches and Airport Connections. It is advised to book the shuttle bus in advance as it may not be possible to buy a ticket at the airport. One-way fare is around $15.00 to $17.00.
